The Gella Mansion was originally built in 1802 as a beautiful estate centre, which has been modernised and converted in recent years into a guest house that can comfortably accommodate 14 people. With a panoramic view of the Tihany peninsula, Lake Balaton and the rolling vineyard hills, the mansion is a special place for relaxation, barbecues and gatherings of friends. The surrounding area offers a wide range of attractions, monuments, cycling, horse riding and hiking programmes, as well as water events, cultural and gastronomic events for our guests.

Upstairs, two more rooms in each of the two wings of the building provide a relaxing stay. In the north wing there are two double bedrooms (8 m2 and 8m2) with a small hall and a bathroom with shower. The south wing houses a family room with four beds and a double room (20 m2 and 8m2) with a bathroom with shower.
The oven and charcoal barbecue, located next to the covered outdoor dining area, are indispensable for a tasty breakfast or evening feast.
The building and garden are equipped to provide all the tools needed for self-catering.
Our sauna house and indoor hot tub are perfect for relaxing or refreshing after hikes. And the intimate south-facing sun terrace allows you to enjoy the sunshine in silence, a little further away from the house.
For the younger children, we have created a special corner with a sandpit, a swing and a small shaded corner for parents to chat.
Located 20 km from Veszprém, in the neighbourhood of Balatonfüred, on the outskirts of Balatonszőlős, near the 416-metre peak of the Nagy-Gella mountain, this intimate guesthouse is accessible from Tótvázsony via a forest road. The building and the surrounding half-hectare estate are part of the Balaton-Helvidék National Park.
